At Eetrex our power systems group brings the experience and expertise integrating power electronics and control electronics. We pioneered the vehicle to grid demonstrations for Smart Grid Cities in 2009. The integration of power electronics into vehicles and stationary systems has given our customers a first to market for the latest high power electrical systems. We work closely with our customers developing hardware and software to speed development, testing and product release.
Eetrex combines power electronics and battery systems to give our customers “green” and flexible solutions for managing grid storage. Our custom battery systems use the latest lithium ion cell technology from the top battery manufacturers in the world to bring the highest quality and most reliable solutions to the stationary battery back-up industry. Eetrex is a leader in the design of customized vehicle to grid and battery to grid technology. Our team takes a concept through design, prototyping, testing and manufacturing along with final vehicle integration and support. We develop solutions to meet or exceed our customers’ expectations. Eetrex engineers have proven custom system integration experience designing and producing chargers, inverter/chargers (Inverger®), battery systems, battery management systems and power distribution units for plug-in hybrids and full electric vehicles. The battery team has demonstrated lithium ion battery back-up and stationary storage batteries that integrate with solar, wind, plug-in vehicles and the smart grid.

Our Power Electronics & Battery System SolutionsThe Inverger® allows electrical energy to flow in two directions, which is necessary for Vehicle to Grid (V2G), Vehicle to House or Commercial Building (V2H) and Vehicle to X (V2X) applications. The design is lightweight, highly efficient, compact and robust. |
Ready for Smart Grid applications, the Eetrex Chargers provide on-board data logging and can be either programmed for set on-off times, or controlled remotely. These J1772 compatible chargers allow full remote charge control through the Internet using a third party service with cell phone data link and onboard GPS.
